Following consultation with staff, parents and pupils we have an arrangement of core and additional home learning activities. The core activities focus on Reading, Spelling and Mental Maths. 

We are planning to:

• Be consistent with our approach throughout the school.• Cater for all children’s learning styles. 
• Allow for personalisation and choice.
• Make learning relevant and meaningful while covering the 4 capacities –successful learners, responsible citizens, effective contributors and confident individuals.
• Extend the application of skills and knowledge from school to home and vice versa.
• Include opportunities for family tasks.

For specific stage and class information,  Home Learning grids and Curriculum leaflets issued to you in paper form each term.
